Our Mission

Trinity United Church exists to be a supportive and outreaching community that provides spiritual nourishment to all through worshipping Jesus Christ. We are creating, with God, a world of love, compassion, and respect for all creation.

Trinity United Church aims to be an outreaching community partner in North Nanaimo where all people feel welcome. We seek to create, with God’s help, a world where trust can be built and maintained, understanding can be nurtured, and compassion can be shown for all creation.

Our Vision

Trinity United Church seeks to be a welcoming and outreaching community of faith in the tradition of the United Church of Canada, ministering in the name of Jesus Christ.

We wish to be a faith that provides spiritual leadership for all ages. We desire spiritual nourishment and are called to strengthen our spiritual roots through study, worship, reflection, music, prayer and sharing. We must take steps to carry our faith beyond the church doors. We are called to reach out to the greater community through Christ’s example “Love in Action” by supporting our outreach programs.

We want to learn how to communicate and share with each other so that we can respect each other and ourselves on our faith journey. We desire to create opportunities through our church life to share and grow so that we all are value.
